Venturing Officers Association
The Venturing Officers Association was created in 2008, and is a meeting of all the Venture Crew officers in the council. The Venturing Officers Association holds elections for the Council Venturing officers, who are responsible for the Venturing program on a Council level.

Venturing Fiesta
Welcome to the Venturing Officers’ Association Fiesta
What: The MDSC’s annual Venturing Weekend is fast approaching!
When: August 30th – September 2nd, Labor Day weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning.
Where: Camp Wolfeboro (directions can be found on the Council’s website under Program)
Kodiak Training
Venturing’s Nature of Leadership program is designed to develop the Venturer’s
leadership skills using exciting and fun leadership learning experiences. Kodiak is
oriented around a high-adventure trek or trip setting. The course prepares the
Venturer or older Boy Scout to be a “Servant Leader” in his/her crew or troop.
