Wood Badge for the 21st Century brings together leaders from all areas of Scouting - Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting and Venturing. It draws upon the most current leadership models used by corporate America, academic circles and successful outdoor leadership organizations throughout the country. This exciting and fast-paced training discusses team development and appropriate leadership strategies to enable teams to reach their highest performance levels. Inspired in England by Lord Robert Baden Powell of Gilwell, Wood Badge is offered around the world today. Upon completion of both the practical and the application portions of the Course, the Scouter receives a certificate, a neckerchief, a woggle and two beads, and becomes a permanent member of Troop 1, Gilwell.
