Online Rechartering

Recharter packets will be distributed at Roundtables in October, 2012. Now is the time to turn in new youth and adult applications so they will appear on your recharter roster. In the next few months after you have completed the Internet Recharter process, please remember to submit the signed copy of the completed on-line recharter report as soon as possible. Units that do not recharter within 60 days of their expiration date, December 31, 2012, will separate from Scouting. We want to make sure that every Scout in your unit is registered and can enjoy the many values that Scouting has to offer.

For questions about your unit’s charter, contact your District Executive at the council office. 925/674-6100

**Please turn in any new youth applications as soon as you receive them. Do not wait to submit them with your recharter. Scouts without youth applications submitted are not insured by the BSA and should not be participating in any Scouting activities

The Mt. Diablo Silverado Council is proud to offer Internet Rechartering again this year. Units will be able to complete and submit their annual charter renewal online. The online system presents units with their current membership information from ScoutNET, or alternatively, a file can be uploaded from most popular Unit Management software packages. Members can then be added, deleted and information updated before submitting the agreement to the council. The result is saved time for both the unit and the council, and increased accuracy of membership information.

Units will be able to begin the recharter process once they have received their access code in early October. The access code is part of the Recharter Packet.

Forms

Forms helpful for the recharter process.

Commissioner Information

Commissioners will also benefit from Internet Rechartering. A training presentation is also available for commissioners to use with their units.
